About the Sadleirs ICT Team

The Role: IT Solutions Manager

In this role, you will be responsible for understanding business strategy, analysing processes, and eliciting, analysing, and documenting functional and technical requirements. You will partner with Corporate IT, internal business units, and external suppliers to deliver business solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Influence the business to understand their strategy and regularly interacts with leaders to ensure needs are met and IT updates are consistently communicated
  • Work with business leaders to plan joint initiatives, analyse proposals, and determine alignment with capability strategies and priorities
  • Identify required IT capabilities and collaborates on information management strategies, ensuring they are an integrated part of the business strategy
  • Maintain awareness of industry trends and digital advancements to identify new opportunities and recommend enhancements to existing business processes
  • Review IT Statements of Work (SOWs) to ensure they clearly articulate the business need and raises concerns if estimates do not align with the required work effort
  • Own and manage the project/program and functional operating budgets, ensuring accurate forecasting and budgeting across projects and operations.

What You'll Need

  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Degree qualification in BA, IT or equivalent
  • Certification in Prince 2 or equivalent PM methodologies (Desirable)
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role
  • Able to influence and negotiate with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Must be comfortable in collaborating with executive level, business leads while understanding business strategy/processes
  • Ability to find innovative solutions to drive business enhancements both for internal business users and external customers
  • Ability to translate business requirements into functional requirements; can perform business process mapping
