PMX (Publicis Media Exchange) is the central investment practice for Publicis Media. We're responsible for the smart application of investment by leveraging scale, marketplace innovation, deeper partnerships, and intelligence.

The transformation you will experience:
As the PMX Planning Director, you will be focused on the PMX Lift product suite assisting PMX Lift clients across Publicis Media agencies (Zenith, Starcom, Spark, Atomic) with comprehensive "converged" traditional and digital solutions for video, audio and OOH. A combination of PMX proprietary tools and data, industry software, primary and secondary research will be utilised to formulate specific responses and more general advice. The planning team assist media intelligence in the development and validation of proprietary tools and meaningful data sources. Recruiting clients for proprietary research studies is part of the role, to deliver client value and enhance organisational learning.
You will also be expected to work closely with internal stakeholders, media publishers and tech partners to assess market factors and continue to develop best in class solutions. This role requires a strategic thinker with a knack for solution-finding and a passion for enhancing customer experiences.
As a PMX Lift Planning Director, you will be accountable for ensuring all client and agency queries are addressed promptly and effectively. Your role will involve collaborating closely with technology partners to improve and streamline processes, ensuring our campaign delivery is on track but also exceeds client expectations.
In addition, you will assist the Head of Video & Head of Audio and OOH and the PMX Commercial team in recognising and targeting potential new business opportunities, whether it involves attracting new clients or retaining existing ones who might be hesitant about the solution.
Your aptitude to foster agency relationships and maintain their confidence in our products will be crucial to the role. This position offers a unique blend of media strategy and planning skills, account management and agency and client engagement, making it an exciting opportunity for those looking to make a significant impact.
Your Scope Will Include
- Agency and Client Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for agency and client inquiries related to PMX Lift, ensuring timely and effective planning advice and market insights to improve agency recommendations. You will be accountable for producing a range of media advice and agency training within the broader product offering. Work with our partners to assess emerging tech, data and media solutions.
- Business Development Support: Assist the Head of Video and Head of Audio and OOH in identifying potential new business opportunities and targeting existing clients who have not opted in. Work to safeguard existing client relationships and address concerns about the PMX Lift solution.
- Partner with Media Intelligence: Collaborate with research partners, agencies and the media intelligence team to uncover insights that deliver greater business results from finest practice media activation and investment in video.
- Product Development: Collect and analyse feedback from users and stakeholders to identify opportunities for product improvement and iteration, enhancing the overall user experience.
What type of person will be successful in this role:
- Established advertising/agency/tech background
- Have high attention to detail, possess an aptitude to multi-task and work well under pressure, be a critical and strategic thinker and be self-motivated/proactive.
- Track record of successful stakeholder management
- Experience in cross platform media planning.
- Sound knowledge of ad-tech: DSP's, SSP's, DMP, Verification technology, Adserving, RTB etc.
- Highly methodical with an ability to develop compelling client solutions assisted by data and tech
- Liaised with clients and internal stakeholders
- Ability to work in a very fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Quality driven - you have a strong eye for the aesthetic, and you set yourself and others (your team, vendors, advertisers, etc) the highest professional bar in all scenarios
