About the role:

We're looking for a hands-on and safety-focused Traffic Operations Supervisor to help keep our project sites running smoothly. In this role, you'll support staff on site, conduct audits, and work closely with the WHS Officer and stakeholders to deliver safe and efficient traffic management services. You'll play a key part in maintaining compliance, ensuring high safety standards, and building strong relationships with your team and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities:

  • Take responsibility for all traffic management on site, including directing the flow of vehicles and pedestrians to ensure safety at all times

  • Support site staff with day-to-day operational requirements

  • Conduct audits and ensure corrective actions are implemented

  • Provide hands-on operational support to clients and crews

  • Assist with equipment set-up and placement

  • Support OH&S processes, including incident reporting

  • Carry out site visits to monitor safety, compliance, and performance

About you:

You're a motivated and safety-conscious leader with:

  • 3–5 years' experience in traffic management

  • A current driver's licence and own vehicle

  • Solid understanding of industry safety standards

  • Strong communication and organisational skills

  • The ability to interpret TGS, permits, and technical documents

  • Relevant traffic management certifications, including:

  • Working in Proximity to Traffic – Awareness Part 1 & 2
  • RIIWHS205D Control Traffic with Stop-Slow Bat
  • RIIWHS302D Implement Traffic Management Plan
