About the Role
Join a leading Traffic Management company who is experiencing significant growth within Queensland. Reporting to the Plans & Permits Manager you will play a pivotal role in the growth, improvement and delivery of operations throughout Greater Queensland
As a qualified and experienced Traffic Management Designer, your purpose is to assist with all aspects of traffic management planning in accordance with relevant legislation, policies and procedures. In this key role, you will possess demonstrated knowledge of submissions and permit applications, with an innate ability to communicate and consult with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring that plans are accurate and effective.
Key areas of responsibility include:
- Develop Traffic Guidance Schemes & Traffic Management Plans in accordance with relevant legislation, policies and procedures
- Review Traffic Guidance Schemes completed by Drafters
- Conduct risk assessments, hazard identifications and document controls
- Ensure all plans are accurate and completed efficiently and on time every time
- Manage permit applications and requirements in a timely manner
- Implement plans and communicate to the operational team requirements
The TMD will drive high standards and advanced understanding of communication, customer service and negotiation. You should be a good time manager, experienced using Microsoft Office applications and enjoy working in a team environment.
About You
The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated background in traffic management and a strong understanding of the industry, client management and HSEQ acumen. We are looking for an individual who demonstrates a lead-by-example mentality, displays natural confidence, has well developed decision-making abilities and will strive to exceed expectations.
Skills and Experience
- Traffic Management Designer (TMD) Accreditation is essential
- Current Driver's Licence and White Card
- Experience with Rapidplan or relevant software
- Understanding of AS 1742.3, AGTTM and Codes of Practice
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Customer relationship and account management experience
- Ability to multi-task and juggle multiple priorities
- Sound administrative skills and computer literacy
