EMP Industrial has equipped Australian yogis, studios and wellness professionals since 1981. We ship thousands of mats, bolsters and fitness accessories nationwide every year - and our warehouse is the heartbeat of that promise.

We're after a dependable, hands-on Warehouse Assistant to handle everything from unloading deliveries to picking and packing outgoing orders. If you enjoy staying active, keep things organised, and are as comfortable with a computer as you are with a box cutter, this role is for you.

This is a manual handling job as items are lightweight and we do not have a forklift on site.

What you'll do
  • Pick, pack and dispatch all B2C and B2B orders quickly and accurately
  • Print shipping labels, book couriers and troubleshoot any address or tracking issues
  • Receive deliveries, check quantities/quality and put stock away in the correct bin location
  • Keep shelves, aisles and benches clean, safe and clearly labelled. Manage waste and recycling
  • Assemble products when needed (e.g. filling meditation cushions, cutting fabric to length)
  • Conduct daily cycle counts, reporting any variances
  • Liaise with the Customer Service & Ops team to coordinate click-and-collect orders and urgent shipments
  • Occasionally transfer stock between our main warehouse and a nearby overflow storage facility (future need)
  • Travel to overflow storage facility will be required a few times per year as needed
Who you are
  • 1+ year in a warehouse, 3PL, or retail back-of-house role
  • Comfortable with manual handling up to 25 kg - plenty of bending, lifting and stairs
  • Basic computer skills - you learn new systems quickly and can already manage labels, scanners or spreadsheets
  • Valid Australian driver's licence and a reliable car for the occasional travel to our overflow site
  • Self-starter who can prioritise, spot process improvements and keep yourself on task
  • Sharp attention to detail - You notice straight away if a SKU is in the wrong spot or a count is off and fix it before it becomes a problem
  • Positive, punctual and happy to pitch in wherever the small team needs help
  • If you're into yoga, Pilates or fitness, that's a bonus
  • Australian work rights are required at the time of application
