ABOUT THIS ROLE:

As a Warehouse Assistant, you will play a key role in the smooth running of our warehouse operations by ensuring accurate and efficient picking, packing, and dispatch of customer orders across retail, wholesale, and e-commerce channels. You will support stock handling, inventory organisation, and general warehouse duties while maintaining a clean, safe, and productive working environment.

This position requires availability during standard business hours.

This role is hands-on and ideal for someone who enjoys being part of a collaborative team, takes pride in accuracy, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Minimum availability of 3-4 days per week is required.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Order Fulfilment:
  • Pick and pack customer orders accurately and efficiently.
  • Prepare, label, and dispatch orders in line with freight and courier requirements.
  • Assist with returns processing and quality checks.
Stock Handling & Inventory:
  • Assist with receiving, unpacking, and storing inbound stock.
  • Replenish picking locations to ensure stock availability.
  • Help maintain stock accuracy through cycle counts and stocktakes.
Warehouse Operations:
  • Keep warehouse areas organised, clean, and safe.
  • Operate equipment (trolleys, pallet jacks, scanners) safely and effectively.
  • Support process improvements and contribute ideas to improve efficiency.
Health, Safety & Compliance:
  • Follow workplace health and safety policies and manual handling practices.
  • Report hazards, incidents, or damaged goods promptly to the Warehouse Manager.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures at all times
Teamwork:
  • Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily KPIs and deadlines.
  • Support colleagues across other warehouse tasks as needed.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Previous warehouse or pick-packing experience (preferred but not essential).
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow processes.
  • Physically fit — able to lift up to 15–20kg and stand for long periods.
  • Basic computer literacy (scanning systems, order management systems).
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Forklift licence desirable but not required.
