About the role
As Regional Maintenance Manager VIC, you'll drive optimal maintenance performance and lead cultural change across multiple Melbourne-based manufacturing sites.
Reporting to the Regional Operations Manager - Exterior Systems, this role is pivotal in developing and implementing preventative and predictive maintenance programs that maximise equipment reliability, ensure safety, and support world-class manufacturing standards.
You'll lead, mentor, and inspire multidisciplinary teams across multiple sites, fostering a high-performance culture built on accountability, safety, and continuous improvement. Your ability to influence, engage, and implement change will be key to embedding best practice maintenance strategies across the region.
- Drive the development and implementation of preventative and predictive maintenance programs to maximise reliability and quality output
- Oversee all maintenance activities across multiple sites, ensuring alignment with production schedules and operational goals
- Lead, mentor, and develop regional teams — setting high expectations for performance, engagement, and leadership standards
- Champion Reliability-Centred Maintenance (RCM) methods and embed Lean principles across sites
- Plan and manage budgets, capital expenditure, and projects across multiple regional locations
- Use data analytics and asset management systems (SAP preferred) to identify improvement opportunities and implement corrective actions
- Maintain strong partnerships with manufacturing managers, supporting an integrated supply chain and continuous improvement culture
- Balance maintenance budgets with operational reliability to deliver cost-effective, high-quality outcomes
What you bring to the role
- Extensive experience in industrial or complex manufacturing environments, with relevant tertiary qualifications
- Proven success in implementing continuous improvement and Lean initiatives across multi-site operations
- Strong technical and data-driven decision-making capability using CMMS/maintenance systems (SAP preferred)
- Commercial acumen with the ability to balance maintenance budgets, capital projects, and long-term asset value
- Inspiring leadership experience in developing high-performing teams through coaching, accountability, and engagement
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills across all organisational levels
- Demonstrated ability to drive change management and adoption of advanced maintenance practices and technologies
