Your new role
- Strategically lead the phone based lending team to exceed sales and service targets through coaching and mentoring.
- Involvement in talent acquisition and retention through capability development to build a resilient, high-performing workforce.
- Provide strategic insights on forecasting, cost-benefit analysis, budget planning, and performance reporting.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory, governance, and risk management frameworks.
- Manage call queue performance using real-time analytics to maintain service standards and member satisfaction. (desired, not essential)
- Maintain stakeholder relationships across Sales, Operations, People & Culture, and Risk to drive alignment.
- Champion a proactive, member-centric sales culture that supports financial wellbeing and organisational growth.
What you'll need to succeed
- Proven experience leading teams in lending and/or sales environments.
- Strong mortgage lending expertise with end-to-end knowledge.
- Demonstrated ability to manage call queues and high-volume service delivery is preferred.
- Excellent communication, relationship-building, and influencing skills.
- Highly organised, strategic thinker with effective time management.
