Purpose of the role

We are looking for Specialist Psychiatrists to facilitate the delivery of high-quality mental health care to patients of the Cairns and Hinterland Mental Health and Alcohol and Other Drugs Service (MHAODS), includes Cairns and Hinterland Hospital and Health Service and Torres and Cape Hospital and Health Service.

Your opportunity

As a Staff Specialist Psychiatry (General Adult, Child & Youth, Rural & Remote, Addiction Medicine or Perinatal) you will facilitate the delivery of high-quality mental health care to patients of the Cairns and Hinterland Mental Health and Alcohol and Other Drugs Service (MHAODS). Our staff are a part of the community we serve, and we strongly believe that health outcomes are enhanced by involving our community in the planning and evaluation of local health services.
