Marketing Coordinator - Full Time

Marriner Group is seeking an enthusiastic and competent Marketing Coordinator to join the Marketing team. This full-time role is based in Melbourne's CBD and offers the unique opportunity to contribute to the success of some of the city's most iconic venues. You will join a wonderful team responsible for marketing across the areas of theatre, live music and events.

Marriner Group is a dynamic, Australian-owned company managing five world-class venues: the Princess Theatre, Regent Theatre, Comedy Theatre, Forum Melbourne, and the Plaza Ballroom. All venues are located in Melbourne's CBD and host some of the world's biggest productions and events.

Duties and Responsibilities include:

• Campaign Execution: Assistance with the planning and execution of various marketing campaigns to support business objectives and achieve best outcomes.

• Social Media: Content creation and coordination to achieve reach, engagement and growth, including copy writing and proofing. Community management.

• Email Marketing: Building and scheduling engaging EDM and SMS campaigns.

• Web: Creating content and keeping company websites up to date.

• Collateral: Coordinating content for print collateral and other marketing collateral as required, including proofing and reviewing.

• Marketing Systems: Ability to use CRM systems and other internal marketing systems.

• Client Liaison: Build and maintain relationships with clients and vendors, communicating and coordinating effectively to ensure smooth campaign execution within desired timeframes.

• Team Collaboration: Working closely with other members of the marketing team and other departments to ensure alignment and collaboration.

• Events: Assistance with events when required.

• General Administration: Assistance with general departmental and office administration as required.

Experience and Requirements

• A marketing qualification or experience in the area of marketing / communications

• A proven high standard of written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills

• A high care factor and a keen work ethic

• Proactive and engaged to identify areas for improvement

• Willingness to listen and take direction

• A collaborative approach

• Excellent client service skills

• Familiarity with Microsoft suite
