Senior Medical Receptionist

A rare and exciting opportunity exists for a permanent part-time Senior Medical Receptionist to work in an intimate obstetric and women's health care clinic.

The position available:

We are seeking a compassionate, friendly and patient focused Permanent Part-Time Medical Receptionist

Hours of Operation: Monday to Friday 8am-5pm (3 days a week)

Location:

Pindara Place, Pindara Private Hospital

As the welcoming face of Empowher Women's Health, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring every patient experience is warm, nurturing, smooth and professional. You are the connection point between our medical specialist and our patients, ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of our clinic, while fostering a friendly, supportive and caring environment.

Duties Include but not limited to:

·       Front reception and patient support

·       Email and phone communication, managed professionally and effectively

·       Patient/HiCaps billing

·       Appointment management and tasks to ensure specialist' day is managed effectively

·       Facilitating patient theatres

·       Follow up and triaging patient referrals and bookings

·       Procedure and patient care quotes

·       Data entry

·       Collaborating with colleagues and stakeholders to support patient care

·       Maintain detailed and confidential patient records

·       Communicating with doctors, clinical staff, including external third parties such as: hospital employees, pathologies, GP clinics, radiology clinics, key hospital stakeholders, and other specialist clinics

·       General office duties including managing a fast-paced work environment

·       Provide daily administrative support to ensure seamless clinic operations

·       Uphold a welcoming, tidy, organized and professional work environment

·       Opening/closing clinic

The Successful Applicant:

· years medical reception and/or administration experience in a fast-paced environment

·       Gentu experience (highly desirable)

·       Exceptional time management and multi-tasking skills

·       Effective management of day, can prioritize and assess urgency of situations at hand

·       Exceptional communication skills, to engage with a multitude of patients and/or stakeholders

·       Strong computer skills and can adapt to multiple databases and systems

·       Show empathy, compassion and support in difficult situations

·       Work autonomously while ensuring all duties are attended to with great attention to detail

·       Thrive in a busy and engaging environment
