Medical Receptionist

Women’s health practice in Benowa searching for a reception team member who is friendly, compassionate, a self-starter, excellent customer service and superb multi-tasker.

**Reception duties include**:

- Opening and closing of practice
- Meet and greet patients
- Diary management (I.e scheduling appointments appropriately, confirming appointments according to protocol, fill in cancellations and no-show appointments etc.)
- Confirming patient information and providing data entry
- Liaising with other providers for patient information
- Receipting and processing payments
- Rearranging schedules to meet changing demands/requests
- Scheduling surgical procedures and organising theatre lists
- Stock taking
- An experienced medical administrator and/or someone who is genuinely interested in a long-term opportunity with career progression within the field
- Strong and confident communicator with good interpersonal skills
- Comfortable working with different programs and devices to run the front desk
- Demonstrable experience in providing good patient/customer care
- A multi-tasker that is able to work with high level of accuracy and attention to detail under pressure
- Not afraid to take initiative to improve practice management when needed
- Ability to prioritise patient needs according to systems and procedures (training provided)
- Strong work-ethic, must be reliable and committed

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual

**Salary**: $27.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 28 per week

Schedule:

- Fixed shift
- Monday to Friday

**Experience**:

- Medical admin: 2 years (required)
- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
