
Senior Parts Manager

An exciting Full Time – Permanent senior leadership opportunity is being recruited in our most diverse operation across the Penske Australia network. Due to an internal transfer, we are hiring a Parts Manager to lead our Perth team of retail parts advisors, inventory management and warehousing/supply chain.
This is a rare chance to join Penske at a senior level and presents an opportunity lead a high-performing department, drive operational excellence, and lead a team committed to safety, accuracy, and exceptional customer service. This role has direct reports with technical expertise in leading our parts advisors, warehouse and inventory. Our Parts Manager will be highly focused on general team development, structure and process improvement across the diverse department.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to;
- Lead and inspire the Parts, Warehouse, and Inventory teams to deliver great customer service and growth of the department
- Oversee inventory control, forecasting, and warehouse operations to ensure optimal supply via fill rates, stock turns and managing aged inventory
- Champion a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement across all operational areas
- Own and drive process excellence, ensuring systems and workflows are efficient, scalable, and aligned with business goals
- Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless service delivery
- Identify and execute process improvements
- Develop and execute strategic plans to grow the department and enhance customer experience
- Manage budgets, purchasing, and asset control with a focus on financial discipline
- Promote cross-training, succession planning, and career development to build a resilient, high-performing team
About You:
- Demonstrated success in leadership within Parts and Warehouse Management or closely aligned industry to Penske, within retail parts or service environment
- Strong business acumen and experience managing departmental budgets
- Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and inspire high-performing teams
- Good understanding of inventory systems, warehousing procedures, and freight logistics
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience with ERA, IDS, and Microsoft Suite (desired)
