Join a leading construction team delivering high-impact projects across Canberra. HAYS is seeking experienced Site Supervisors and Site Managers to work on contract to help drive the structural pre-cast and steel packages of works.

Your new role

As the Site Manager / Supervisor, you will take the helm to ensure seamless execution of the project while upholding the highest quality standards. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Work with the existing Site Manager and Project Manager to execute short-term programs to meet key construction milestones.
  • Lead Site Supervisors or Leading Hands to drive team performance.
  • Coordinate subcontractors to ensure quality, compliance, and timely delivery.
  • Enforce WHS standards and maintain a safe, compliant worksite.
  • Liaise with clients and consultants to ensure clear communication and strong relationships

What you'll need to succeed

  • Relevant trade qualifications or a Diploma in Building and Construction (Cert IV or higher)
  • Demonstrated experience as a Site Manager / Supervisor on commercial projects, ideally managing key structural packages
  • Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, building codes, and safety regulations
  • Proficiency with construction management software (e.g., Procore, Aconex, MS Project) to streamline site operations
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills to manage trades, subcontractors, and stakeholders
