Canberra Contractors Pty Ltd is a well-established civil construction company with a strong reputation for delivering quality infrastructure projects across the ACT and surrounding regions. We specialise in subdivisions, roadworks, earthworks, drainage, and utilities — and we're seeking an organised and proactive Site Administrator to join our Canberra team.

About the Role

We are seeking 2 persons to share this role in shifts daily. Our site hours are 6:30am-5:30pm Monday-Friday. 6:30am-1:00 pm Saturday.

AM Shift - 6:30am-12:30pm

PM Shift - 12:30pm-5:30pm

Saturday Shift - 6:30am - 1:00pm

As a Site Administrator, you'll provide vital administrative and project support to ensure smooth site operations. Working closely with Project Managers, Engineers, and Supervisors, you'll assist with documentation, purchasing, cost tracking, and compliance activities.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced construction environment and takes pride in accuracy and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to site and project teams
  • Manage project documentation, timesheets, and cost tracking
  • Assist with procurement, purchase orders, and supplier coordination
  • Maintain records for WHS, quality, and environmental compliance
  • Support project reporting and progress claims
  • Contribute to efficient site operations and team communication
About You
  • Previous experience in construction administration or a similar role
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and general office systems
  • Positive, professional attitude with strong communication skills
  • Knowledge of civil construction processes (advantageous, not essential)
