We are seeking an experienced Carpenter/Handyman to help close out our residential builds to the highest standard. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, a broad range of finishing skills, and a passion for mentoring apprentices. We are especially interested in someone a little older, able to bring a positive influence and add to our strong team dynamic.

Key Responsibilities

  • Complete finishing carpentry and handyman tasks to close out residential builds

  • Work collaboratively with management team

  • Mentor and train apprentices, sharing knowledge and best practices

  • Communicate effectively with clients and team members

  • Trade qualifications in carpentry (Certificate III in Carpentry or equivalent)

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in residential construction, renovations, or similar roles

  • Strong finishing, problem-solving, and multi-trade skills (e.g., minor plastering, painting, hardware fitting)

  • Excellent attention to detail and pride in workmanship

  • White Card and valid driver's license

  • Own tools and reliable transport
