ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

Reporting to the Store Manager, we are currently seeking highly organised and enthusiastic Collections Crew member to provide premium service both friendly and exceptionally efficient, while dispatching orders to Lotte Duty Free customers at the Collections Counter.

You will be working in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment with a friendly and diverse team.

YOUR DUTIES WILL INCLUDE

  • Distribute orders at the Collections Counter and handle "un-packs" and "re-packs" with accurate computer entries.
  • Provide quality customer service and assist on the shop floor as needed.
  • Check remaining parcels at shift end and report stock control or sales issues to the Compliance Officer.
  • Communicate customer issues to the Hotline Team via email and report pre-order inquiries or errors to Sales Managers.
  • Be aware of, and adhere to, Airport security emergency and health and safety procedures.

ABOUT YOU

Essential:

  • Previous customer service experience in a fast-paced environment
  • Intermediate experience with Microsoft Office
  • A reasonable level of physical fitness, as manual handling and heavy lifting will be involved
  • High attention to detail
  • Strong communication and numerical skills
  • Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification required

Desirable:

  • Knowledge or experience with international brands and in a duty-free environment
  • Previous cash handling experience

DETAILS OF THE ROLE

  • Location: Melbourne Airport
  • Part Time position 60 hours' fortnightly
  • Full Time position 76 hours' fortnightly
  • 2 week rotating roster
  • Availability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and public holidays
  • Flexibility with hours of work is important as our stores are open for long periods

It is essential to have your own form of reliable transport due to the early/late hours of work.

To work with Lotte Duty Free, you must hold a current Australian or International Passport.

Please note that all Lotte Duty Free employees are required to have Customs and Police Clearance process.
