Labourer – Construction & Maintenance

Greenmount Depot | Permanent Full-Time | $2,423.70 per fortnight + super + RDOs

We're looking for motivated team players who are keen to learn, get stuck in, and take pride in building and maintaining the infrastructure that keeps our region moving.


About the Role

As a Labourer, you'll work alongside a skilled crew on a range of civil construction and maintenance projects. From road maintenance to concreting to bitumen to asphalt works, you'll get practical experience and training on the job — and gain the skills to grow your career in civil construction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Complete hands-on construction and maintenance tasks (pipelaying, concreting, culverts, etc.)
  • Operate and care for tools, machinery and plant (including rollers)
  • Keep work areas safe and clean
  • Communicate with residents and team members respectfully and clearly
  • Accurately complete job records and documentation

About You

You're someone who:

  • Is reliable, practical, and enjoys working outdoors
  • Works well in a team and takes direction easily
  • Has a "can-do" attitude and takes pride in a job well done
  • Has (or can get) the right licences and tickets (e.g. White Card, Driver's Licence)

Bonus points if you already hold MR licence, traffic control tickets, or plant operation competencies – but if not, we'll support you to get there.
