About the role

As a Team Leader at Johnny H QLD, based at Varsity Lakes, you will assist in coordinating the daily operations of team to ensure they work cohesively for the participant/s and have clear objectives and working in a person-centered model.

What you'll be doing

  • Leading a team of Disability Support professionals to create a positive team culture.
  • Support people living with disabilities within our ULearn, Life Skills and Social programs
  • Maintain positive relationships with stakeholders including clients, families, and team.
  • Coordinate rosters alongside the General Manager to support client/s requirements according to individual support needs, service funding and relevant legislation.
  • Provide coaching, and identify development opportunities
  • Complete induction/training of new team members when required
  • Support in the growth of the Johnny H program.

What we're looking for

  • Demonstrated experience in reporting and implementing processes essential.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues
  • Proficient in MSOffice and use of technology such as MS Teams, scanning, printers, etc. Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with internal teams
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Understanding of NDIS
