For over 25 years, Blacks Smash Repairs has been a trusted name in collision repair. We pride ourselves on delivering high-quality workmanship and outstanding customer service. As an industry leader in located in Belmont, we are now seeking a friendly and motivated Receptionist / Administration Assistant to be the welcoming face of our business and support our growing team.

About the Role

This full-time position plays a key role in coordinating our customer experience and ensuring our front office runs smoothly. The roles responsibilities include:

  1. Answering and directing incoming phone calls in a professional and friendly manner
  2. Greeting customers and visitors, providing a welcoming first impression
  3. Booking client appointments and managing daily schedules
  4. Performing data entry and maintaining accurate records in company systems
  5. Uploading documents and images to insurance portals
  6. Processing customer payments and insurance claim authorities
  7. Assisting with general administration and supporting other team members as needed

We are seeking an individual who demonstrates professionalism and pride in their work, values collaboration, and contributes to a supportive and positive team culture.

The ideal candidate will have:

  1. Previous experience in reception and/or administration (automotive industry experience is a bonus, but not essential)
  2. Strong customer service and communication skills
  3. A proactive, organised, and reliable work ethic
  4. The ability to work independently, also with support from our office manager
  5. A current driver's licence and willingness to occasionally travel to other office locations
  6. Enthusiasm and teamwork – we value staff with friendly helpful culture.
