We have an exciting opportunity to join our Technology team in Sydney and are currently looking for an IT Systems Administrator to join the team.

As an IT Systems Administrator at VGW, you'll ensure the reliability, security, and scalability of our core IT systems. You'll manage and optimise environments across MacOS, Windows Server, Linux, and the cloud to drive operational efficiency and support our continued growth.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Manage and optimise enterprise-level server environments across Windows and Linux systems, ensuring scalability and security.
• Help design and implement system performance monitoring processes, identifying and addressing potential issues to ensure uptime and reliability.
• Support the implementation of IT security best practices in collaboration with our security team, including ensuring system protection through measures like antivirus solutions, intrusion prevention, and encryption.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure IT services align with business needs and strategic objectives.

What you will bring to the role:

• Proven experience in systems administration and network management.
• Skilled in managing SaaS platforms, including onboarding, integration, and identity access management (IAM) systems.
• Hands-on expertise in network administration, covering firewalls, VPNs, and networking protocols (TCP/IP, VLANs).
• Strong knowledge of identity management systems such as Okta, with practical experience in integration and access control configuration.
• Background in managing global IT infrastructure and enterprise IT systems across MacOS, Windows Server, Linux, and cloud environments, with a strong focus on security.
• Recognised as a collaborative team player with a commitment to continuous learning and skill development.
