What You Will Do
In this field-based role, you will play a key part in strengthening our presence within your assigned territories. Your main responsibilities will include:
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders, including Veterinarians, Vet Nurses, Store Managers, and wholesalers.
- Providing expert advice and training to customers, ensuring they fully understand and can effectively communicate the benefits of our products.
- Utilising customer insights and data to tailor your approach and deliver value-driven solutions.
- Presenting and promoting products through corporate sales presentations, customer visits, and industry events.
- Handling customer inquiries professionally, including pricing queries, compliance issues, and product complaint investigations.
- Collaborating with internal teams across sales, marketing, and technical services to support customer needs and business success.
- Maintaining up-to-date industry knowledge to remain competitive and provide informed recommendations to customers.
What You Must Have
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- A tertiary degree in business or science (preferred)
- Proven experience in a customer-facing role, ideally within sales or account management
- The ability to build and nurture strong relationships with customers
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information in a clear and engaging manner
- A proactive and self-motivated approach, with the ability to work independently.
- Strong negotiation and influencing skills to drive customer engagement
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience using digital tools such as an iPad
- High level of resilience, adaptability, and problem-solving skills
- Strong organisational and time management abilities, ensuring timely responses to customer needs
