About the Role:
Our Federal Government Client is seeking a
Senior Software Engineer
. This is a long-term contract role
until 30 June 2026
with
two 12-month extension options
, located at our client's
ACT office with hybrid working arrangements (on-site at least 3 days per week)
.

As The Selected Candidate, You Will

  • Develop robust, efficient, and reliable software to support scientifically valid digital products used by government, industry, and the public.
  • Provide expert technical advice and guidance to developers and scientists.
  • Design, implement, and negotiate infrastructure and software solutions across cloud environments, contributing to scalable digital platforms for government and industry partners.
  • Contribute to a positive culture focused on continuous improvement, agility, security, and user engagement.

To Be Successful In This Role You Should Have

  • Minimum 3 years of professional experience with Angular 12+ within the last 12 months.
  • Minimum 3 years of professional experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) within the last 12 months

It Is Desirable If You Have

  • Demonstrated experience with Python.

Due to security clearance requirements for this role, candidates must be
Australian citizens

no security clearance required
