$1,200 – $1,400 per day

Job Details

A Federal Government program is seeking an experienced
Senior Software Engineer (SAP Fiori/UI5 Specialist)
to support the enhancement and ongoing development of a large-scale enterprise system.

You will work within the ERP Technical area to design, build and support
SAP Fiori/UI5 applications
across
S/4HANA and ECC environments
, contributing to a system used nationally across government. This role requires deep technical capability, strong stakeholder communication skills, and the ability to work autonomously while collaborating within a high-performance delivery environment.

Hybrid working arrangements apply in line with established flexible work policies.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will:

  • Design, develop and support
    SAP Fiori/UI5 applications
    across S/4HANA and ECC.
  • Lead SAP Fiori architectural design and provide technical guidance.
  • Conduct Scenario UX workshops and translate user/business needs into optimised solutions.
  • Create blueprint design documentation and configure Launchpad including extension of standard applications.
  • Develop integration plans for "As Is" and "To Be" models.
  • Build proof-of-concept solutions to demonstrate technical options.
  • Identify process improvements and provide clear, concise technical solution definitions.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • 10+ years' experience in
    SAP Fiori/UI5 development
    .
  • Strong development capability using
    SAPUI5, SAP BTP (Cloud Foundry / Neo), HTML5, REST and OData
    .
  • Extensive experience with
    JavaScript and CSS
    , ensuring multi-browser compatibility.
  • Demonstrated experience implementing standard Fiori applications, including
    catalogues, groups, and role assignments
    .
  • Experience using
    SAP NetWeaver Gateway Framework
    including backend OData service integration/troubleshooting.
  • UI/UX design experience using SAPUI5 Theme Designer.
  • Ability to manage workload independently and contribute effectively to a team-based environment.

Desirable Experience

  • Experience with
    PEMS
    or parliamentary systems.
  • Public sector experience or APS delivery familiarity.
  • Experience mentoring APS staff and transferring knowledge.
  • ABAP and/or Java development background.
