Job Title: Network & Cabling Engineer – Switch, Router & AP Installation

Location: IKEA

Job Description:

We are seeking skilled Structured Cabling Engineers to support Access Point (AP) cabling and installation projects at IKEA. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with structured cabling, including cable routing, termination, testing, and documentation, while ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, pull, and terminate Ethernet cables for wireless Access Points (APs).
  • Follow cable routes and site layouts as per project requirements.
  • Test, label, and document all cabling work accurately.
  • Coordinate with the on-site project team to ensure timely task execution.
  • Maintain adherence to safety regulations and quality standards.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in structured cabling and installation projects.
  • Strong knowledge of AP cabling standards and best practices.
  • Ability to read and interpret basic site plans and cable layouts.
  • Personal set of tools (preferred).
  • Availability for on-site assignments.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $30.00 – $40.00 per hour
