About the company:

Join an iconic Australian organisation, directing calls from the public to 000 responders across the country.

This is a fantastic opportunity for casual work, 3 - 6 days a week. The call centre operates 24/7. We have morning, afternoon as well as night shifts avaiable some weekend work will be required. You must be flexible with working across all shifts.

Commitment and reliability are essential in this high volume and fast paced contact centre role, in which you will be required to provide accurate connections to Police, Fire and Ambulance dispatchers. You will be required to follow strict protocols and procedure to ensure every call is taken quickly, efficiently, and correctly.

About the role:

  • Answering calls from all over Australia
  • Efficiently connecting all emergency calls to Police, Fire or Ambulance dispatchers.
  • Provide consistent and high-quality service.
  • Ensuring customers are treated with an empathetic yet direct approach.

Requirements:

  • Willing to work on a rotating roster.
  • Attend all scheduled training sessions.
  • Committed to work a minimum of 3 shifts per week (Open avaialablity is required to work mid week)
  • Avaiablity will need to be provided to work 3 days minium during the week not just weekends.
  • Contact Centre, Customer Service or Hospitality experience preferred.
  • Excellent customer service, communication and active listening skills.
  • Ability to follow protocols and procedure.
  • Strong computer literacy skills.
  • Strong Geography skills.
  • Reliable and flexible.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • A high level of resilience.
  • A strong team player.
  • Must be Covid Vaccinated
