About the role
We're looking for a strong people leader to join us as the Planning Manager on the West Region Delivery Team (WRDT). Leading a team of planners and schedulers, your focus will be on team leadership, performance, and driving best practice in project planning.
This role is about setting standards, ensuring consistency, and improving how we work, rather than hands-on planning. You'll be responsible for refining processes, driving efficiency, and ensuring project schedules align with business and client expectations.

What You'll Bring to the Team
You'll have a strong background in planning or project delivery, with experience in developing and managing project schedules. Whether your expertise is in P6 planning or in a delivery role with exposure to project controls, your ability to drive best practice, optimise workflows, and ensure smooth project execution will be key to your success.
Beyond technical expertise, you'll be a proactive leader—focused on building a high-performing team, setting clear expectations, and driving accountability to ensure planning processes are efficient and continuously improving. You enjoy coaching, mentoring, and helping teams perform at their best, while working closely with stakeholders to create more effective planning processes.
About WRDT
The West Region Delivery Team consortium comprises of Abergeldie Complex Infrastructure and Fulton Hogan for construction, Programmed for maintenance and facility management, Stantec and Atlas for design and engineering.
The West Region Delivery Team is integrated with Sydney Water under a collaborative contracting framework - Partnering for Success (P4S). West Region Delivery Team have been engaged to deliver design, construction, maintenance and facility management services for the ten (10) year program across Sydney Water's wastewater, water and recycled water systems.
