The Security Hub Pty Ltd

Location: Melbourne, VIC

Position: Casual Security Officers for Major Events

The Security Hub (Lic. # S) is actively recruiting professional Casual Security Officers to join our Major Events Team. We are seeking individuals with exceptional customer service skills to work at a variety of events starting in November 2025 and on an ongoing basis. The role involves ensuring safety and providing a high level of service at both events and regular client sites.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality customer service with a practical and professional approach to problem-solving.
  • Communicate clearly and effectively in both written and verbal forms.
  • Maintain a professional, well-groomed appearance at all times.
  • Foster positive working relationships with employees, clients, and the public.
  • Ensure the safety of customers, staff, and the community during events.
  • Perform all security duties in compliance with company policies and established procedures.

Essential Qualifications and Skills:

  • Current Victorian Security License.
  • Right to work in Australia.
  • Valid First Aid Certificate.
  • Ability to work a rotating roster (desirable).
  • Valid Driver's License (beneficial but not essential).
  • Traffic Management experience (beneficial but not essential).

  • Approachable, professional, and reliable.
  • Strong literacy and communication skills in English.
  • Proven experience in the security industry, preferably in event or crowd control environments.
  • Ability to remain calm, confident, and courteous under pressure.

  • Casual employment with applicable award rates.
