About the role:
Reporting to the Technical Support Manager , you will be the main point of call within our national technical support team for resolving and troubleshooting issues.
This is a fantastic opportunity to bring your technical expertise into a dynamic, office-based role where you can make a real impact on our valued dealers and customers across the nation.
Your Critical Responsibilities Will Include:
- Providing swift technical support to a broad range of valued dealers and customers nationally.
- Handling trade and consumer technical support for systems including Ducted, Package, High Wall, Multi Room, VRF, and control systems.
- Delivering technical/service support over the phone, via email, or in person.
- Conducting hands-on product inspections and fault diagnosis as required, and assisting ActronAir technicians.
- Actively sharing knowledge and issues within the team to ensure constant upskilling.
- Keeping managers informed of re-occurring issues/faults and ensuring all corrective action is captured in the quality management system
What you will need to be successful in this role:
Essential Qualifications & Experience:
- A Certificate 3 in Electro technology Refrigeration & Air Conditioning is a must
- Experience working in the HVAC industry (hands-on or office-based).
- A sound understanding/working knowledge of WH&S regulations and quality systems.
Key Skills & Attributes:
- Strong communication skills (written & verbal) and a professional business manner.
- Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills.
- Highly effective planning, organisation, and prioritising skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively, demonstrating initiative.
- An intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- A positive attitude and a commitment to teamwork.
