This is a multi-task job including both Assessing and Insurance repair project management.
Insurance repair assessor/ Project Manager – Mostly residential insurance repair works with Some commercial as necessary.

Your new role:
This role will suit you if you have had at least 5-10 years' experience within a similar role recently and you are looking for a change. RNL Constructions is seeking an experienced, motivated building repair assessor/ residential insurance repair project manager to join our team. Key responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Assess and report on Insured affected properties due to an insurable event.
- Create Scope of works for insured and affected residential properties.
- Take ownership and general management of on-site supervision on multiple projects simultaneously from commencement to completion.
- Engage & manage trades on-site, including quality, safety, schedules, and costs.
- Communicate regularly with client, trades and internal team.
- Work in a team environment to achieve set budgets, updates, and deadlines.
- Accurate take offs and ordering of materials
- Be a point of contact for both internal and external clients for trade allocation.
- Monitor budgets and cost control for every assigned job.
- Create and maintain full site documentation of all day-to-day activities on-site.
- Competently use computers and mobile devices effectively for record keeping and reporting.
RNL Constructions is uniquely positioned with a wealth of experience in government and insurance building works, therefore, we require a flexible, motivated, hard-working individual who will also:
- Coordinate and manage employees including subcontractors.
- Be willing to step outside boundaries and get involved.
- Provide reports, updates and support to clients and workforce.
- Assist administration staff with technical support.
- Be willing to jump in and assist trades on the tools, if trade qualified, and when required.
- Be able to multitask and adapt to change quickly.
Your background:
- Strong residential building, renovation, repair experience with a carpentry trade background preferred.
- Demonstrated experience in a site supervisor/leading hand role within the construction industry.
- Prior experience or an understanding of the insurance or government (Q Build) building industry is preferred; however, not essential.
- A passion for construction and demonstrated record of reliability.
- Ability to work as a part of a diverse and multicultural team.
- An eye for detail and display pride in your workmanship
- Enthusiasm to learn new skill sets and accept new challenges.
- Demonstrated leadership, problem-solving skills, and an enthusiasm for tackling challenges head on.
