We're looking for a proactive & analytical Cost Accountant to join our team where you will play a key part in shaping financial decisions & driving efficiency. From product & project costing, budgeting & forecasting, management/financial reporting, inventory management & cost reduction initiatives, you'll ensure we understand not just 
what
 the numbers say, but 
what they mean
 for our growth.

Key to your success will be your ability to build strong, productive relationships with internal/external stakeholders, your reliability, & your interest in continual improvement, all of which will establish you as a trusted & effective partner to the business.

What You'll Do

  • Support financial & management accounting activities across multiple entities.
  • Provide detailed analysis & reporting on costs, productivity, margins, & expenditure.
  • Identify opportunities to improve cost efficiency & profitability.
  • Collaborate with leadership to turn financial data into actionable insights.
  • Maintain a strong focus on customer service.

What You'll Bring

  • 5+ years' experience in a similar role with tertiary qualifications in accounting or similar & CA/CPA accreditation (or working towards).
  • A curious mind with the ability to analyse complex data & translate it into clear, practical insights.
  • An accountable team player with strong communication & stakeholder management skills.
  • Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail & ability to manage competing priorities.
  • A capable, proactive problem-solver.
  • Highly competent in MS Office & confident operating within ERP systems (NetSuite experience a plus).
  • Previous experience in manufacturing environment &/or exposure to managing multiple entities beneficial.
  • Pre-employment medical & background check required.
