Laser Clinics Group is seeking an experienced and detail-driven
Senior Financial Accountant
to join our Finance team on a
6-month contract with the possibility of extension
. Based at our North Sydney Support Office and reporting to the Head of Finance (ANZ), this role will play a pivotal part in organising, planning, and reporting financial transactions while coordinating budgeting processes across the business.

What You'll Do:

Financial Accounting & Reporting

  • Oversee month-end close, journal entries, reconciliations, and accruals.
  • Review monthly P&L with variance commentary.
  • Manage overhead analysis and revenue reconciliations (POS, Xero, financial systems).
  • Review IAS/BAS workpapers prepared by Third Party Partners.
  • Manage dividends, distributions, and clinic sale/closure accounting.

Cash Flow & Treasury

  • Prepare rolling cash flow forecasts and monitor funding needs.
  • Approve payments, manage banking, and address cash flow shortages.

Compliance & Tax

  • Oversee payroll tax and BAS submissions, ensuring compliance.
  • Manage insurance allocations and annual payroll tax analysis.

Leadership & Team Support

  • Mentor Assistant Accountant and support team development.
  • Liaise with Operations, Finance and third-party partners.

We'd Feel WOW if You Have:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Finance, Accounting, Business, or Commerce.
  • Chartered Accountant (CA) or Certified Practising Accountant (CPA) registration (essential)
  • Relevant experience across financial accounting, reporting, and analysis at a Senior Level
  • Experience with SAP Business One, TM1, and Xero
  • A strong commercial mindset with proven ability to partner with stakeholders and provide actionable insights.
  • Excellent organisation, planning, and time management skills – with the ability to multitask and troubleshoot.
  • Advanced Excel skills, plus confidence in financial systems and reporting tools.
  • Experience in the aesthetics, beauty, or retail industry (desirable but not essential).
  • Knowledge of franchisor/franchisee models (a bonus).
