Join City of Moreton Bay as a Capability & Communications Coordinator and help shape and enhance our communities for today and tomorrow.
We are seeking a responsive and proactive Capability and Communications Leader to drive digital transformation across our organisation. This role leads a high-performing, skilled team of five direct reports, working collaboratively across multi-functional teams to support their IT functions and deliver on our Digital Action Plan. As a champion of people-focused change, you will coordinate and engage staff to build digital confidence and capability. You will oversee the Digital Literacy Program, embed digital principles into workforce behaviours, and position Digital Innovation and Technology as a core part of City Futures.
In this pivotal role, you will:
- Champion the uplift of digital capability, embedding digital principles and behaviours
- Coordinate and engage teams to deliver targeted learning experiences, innovative training, and impactful communications that support our ICT Digital Strategy.
- Oversee the rollout of change initiatives, ensuring measurable improvements in digital literacy and readiness.
- Provide expert advice and strategic leadership to senior stakeholders, guiding the organisation through transformation and fostering a culture of innovation.
- Drive the adoption of digital programs, ensuring strong stakeholder engagement and alignment with our vision for a future-ready workforce.

- Proven leadership in managing multi-disciplinary teams and complex change initiatives.
- Exceptional communication, influencing, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- A track record of delivering high-impact capability programs and driving continuous improvement.
- Strategic thinking, adaptability, and a commitment to organisational excellence.
- Analytical and results-focused, able to manage ambiguity and completing prioritise under pressure
- Skilled in ICT related change management, with focus on stakeholder engagement and adoption
