What You'll Be Doing

  • Carrying out routine and reactive maintenance across parks, gardens, and streetscapes
  • Operating and maintaining small plant and equipment (mowers, whipper-snippers, spray units, etc.)
  • Planting, pruning, mulching, and irrigation upkeep
  • Identifying pests, diseases, and irrigation issues and implementing control measures
  • Providing guidance and mentoring to apprentices and team members
  • Supporting the supervisor with daily operations and planning
  • Promoting safe work practices and contributing to toolbox and team meetings

What You'll Bring

  • Certificate III in Horticulture (Amenity) is essential
  • Basic Worksite Traffic Management accreditation
  • Strong horticultural and turf maintenance skills
  • Commitment to safety, teamwork, and high presentation standards
  • Competence with basic MS Office programs
  • Current C Class driver's license
  • Chainsaw operation, Provide First Aid is desirable
