Due to continued growth at our Moorebank store, Pedders Suspensions & Brakes Moorebank are on the lookout for a 2IC/Leading Hand Mechanic to be part of our successful team

This is a hands on role where you will be on the tools as well as leading a small team of mechanics and apprentices. You will be assisting the store manager with job allocation in the workshop, managing workflow, timelines and QA of completed work. You will also be trained to aid in the store managers role and will step up when the store manager is absent

We are a family-owned small business and understand the importance of work/life balance. We don't work weekends, offer overtime during the week for those that wish to work additional hours. Provide ongoing training with a Master Tech program, Leadership, Store management programs, yearly Conference in Melbourne, competitive rates of pay and the odd weekend away to relax and unwind with colleagues and their families

Skills & Experience

  • Qualified Light Vehicle Mechanic
  • Ability to perform wheel alignments
  • Leadership & Experience in people/customer management
  • Minimum of 2+ years leadership or supervisory experience required
  • Problem solving skills
  • Good communication and attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to lead and motivate small team to achieve desired outcomes and business targets

Renumeration:

  • Working Monday to Friday, no weekends
