We are currently seeking a Leading Hand Electrician ? Raising Australia responsible for maintaining our Raising Australia fleet across all Australian operations.

Responsibilities/Duties:

  • Schedule and carry out regular servicing of Raise Drills, Rhinos and all other assets
  • Respond to breakdowns, diagnose and repair electrical systems and equipment
  • Inspection/auditing of new equipment added to the Raising Australia fleet
  • Regular travel throughout WA and interstate
  • Regularly audit the condition of Raising Australia assets and any electrical works performed by other parties
  • Ensure a high standard of electrical documentation to ensure compliance
  • Liaise with Byrnecut and non-Byrnecut sites to conduct maintenance and repairs
  • Carrying out electrical installations on electrical systems up to 1000V AC

Requirements:

  • West Australian Electrical Licence or ability to obtain one
  • Manual drivers licence
  • Experience maintaining a fleet of underground drill rigs
  • Current Senior First Aid/CPR & Low Voltage Rescue certificates
  • Sound knowledge of AS/NZS 3000 Wiring Rules
