We are seeking an experienced and motivated Leading Hand Electrician to join our Electrical team supporting projects and maintenance works for Tier 1 clients. This is aFIFO 8:6 role ex Perth, working across BHP and RTIO sites.

Reporting to the Electrical Supervisor, you'll oversee and coordinate the work of a small team of electricians, to deliver safe, high quality outcomes on time and to the required standard.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Allocate and oversee daily tasks to maximise team performance
  • Provide hands-on supervision and technical support
  • Lead safety, HSE compliance and risk management on site
  • Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues efficiently
  • Drive continuous improvement in processes and procedures

About You:

  • Current WA Electrical licence (trade qualified)
  • 2+ years' experience as an Electrical Leading Hand / Supervisor (preferred)
  • BHP inducted and prior BHP site experience (essential)
  • WAIO Arc Flash Hazard & PPE, Safework on Low Voltage
  • Valid First Aid, CPR, Live LV Panel certification
  • Fire Technology training: First Attack Firefighting, Emergency Response
  • Minimum C Class WA Driver's Licence (unrestricted)
  • Able to pass pre-employment medical & D&A screening
  • White Card (Construction)
  • Thorough knowledge of electrical safety standards and regulations
  • Strong problem-solving, communication and leadership skills

  • Confident in motivating and developing teams

  • WA-based with full Australian working rights
