Automation Testers

Contract to 30 September 2026 I Brisbane CBD

We're working with a federal government client to recruit experienced Automation Testers. In this role you will implement and manage the development of automated test playbooks, test scenarios and/or test scripts for a specific release.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engaging with multiple agile delivery teams to understand the scope of product releases.
  • Undertake Automation testing activities including functional, integration and regression testing for each program increment (PI).
  • Report and track the resolution of issues as they are found in automated testing.
  • Assist with issue triaging.
  • Develop reporting dashboards to demonstrate the outcomes of the automated testing.
  • Liaise with vendors, business areas and IT Branch staff as required.
  • Advise the client on automation testing software

What we're looking for?

  • Experience working within a team of Automation Specialists
  • Experience in supporting the development and implementation of ICT Projects within a remote team environment.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage and collaborate internally with IT areas, project teams, and business areas
  • Experience with automation test tools like Selenium, Postman, Swagger and Cucumber.
  • Highly effective in managing multiple, concurrent activities, while understanding and managing priorities, dependencies, and risk.
  • Ability to independently develop and determine approaches to solutions in a practical and creative manner.
  • Strong conceptual, analytical, and interpretive skills with high level of attention to details.
  • Demonstrated experience in building and implementing CI/CD pipelines
