We are seeking a Duty Manager to join our Front Office team at Joondalup Resort.

This position is covered under the Hospitality Industry (General) Award (HIGA) pay rate.

Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • General Reception and Reservation duties
  • Providing impeccable service to guests according to the brand standard
  • Handle Guest Complaints
  • Provide support and training to all current and new staff
  • Motivating the Front Office team to provide excellent and welcoming service
  • Oversee operations in the absence of the Front Office Manager

Candidate working in this outlet will demonstrate:

  • Minimum one (1) years' experience in a similar size hospitality property –
  • Demonstrated knowledge of PMS systems and software (Northstar, Opera, Nowbookit or similar).
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office Skills (words, excel)

  • Must be available to work mornings, evenings and weekends

  • Ability to work in a dynamic, fast paced environment

  • Desire to work in an energetic team setting
  • Impeccable professional attitude including care for personal grooming, punctuality and service quality
  • Great attention to detail
  • Ability to train and develop junior staff
  • Flexible with working hours
