
Membership Manager – Luxury Hospitality

We are seeking a polished and strategic Membership Manager to lead acquisition, engagement, and retention for a new luxury hospitality venture launching in Australia in 2026.
This role will play a pivotal part in shaping the Membership experience for a high-profile opening, ensuring strong growth, meaningful engagement, and premium service standards that reflect a world-class brand.

Key Responsibilities
Strategic Membership Growth & Engagement
- Develop and execute Membership acquisition and engagement strategies.
- Ensure Members maximise their benefits through curated events and personalised experiences.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Events, and Operations to align initiatives with broader business goals.
Relationship & Stakeholder Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing Members.
- Serve as the first point of contact for Membership enquiries and feedback.
- Proactively respond to Member requests and manage conflict resolution with a professional, solutions-oriented approach.
Retention & Satisfaction
- Design and deliver proactive retention strategies.
- Analyse Member feedback and data to inform improvements.
- Oversee Membership administration, including applications, renewals, and records management.
Operational & Team Leadership
- Support the growth and development of the Membership team closer to launch.
- Manage reciprocal club relationships to expand Member benefits.
- Deliver weekly reporting and insights on Membership trends
Requirements
Experience
- Minimum 3+ years in Membership, VIP guest relations, customer experience, or similar roles (hospitality or luxury environment preferred).
- Demonstrated success in acquisition and retention strategies.
- Proficiency with CRM systems and reporting tools.
Skills
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong organisational and analytical abilities.
- Ability to lead and motivate junior staff.
- Commercially minded and data-driven.
- High value Sales, Marketing or PR experience advantageous.
- Candidates with good knowledge of wine and fine dining environments preferred.
