Multimedia Specialist

We are looking for an experienced Multimedia Specialist (VFX Supervisor) to join our talented team and help drive the creative and technical excellence of our visual effects projects.

This role blends hands-on compositing expertise with high-level VFX supervision, ensuring seamless collaboration across departments and delivering world-class visuals for feature films, series, and high-end commercial projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Interpret creative vision from directors and clients, translating briefs into actionable VFX strategies.
• Provide high-level creative input across sequences to ensure visual consistency and storytelling impact.
• Draw on compositing expertise to guide shot integration, colour balance, lighting, and photorealism.
• Create concepts, looks, templates, and occasionally deliver key shot work to guide internal teams and clients.
• Lead cross-departmental teams (Compositing, CG, FX, Lighting), fostering collaboration and delivery excellence.
• Conduct reviews, mentor leads and artists, and elevate technical and creative output across departments.
• Balance artistic direction with technical feasibility to ensure efficient and high-quality delivery.
• Collaborate with Pipeline, R&D, and Department Supervisors to optimise workflows and refine tools/templates.
• Oversee the final delivery of shots and sequences, maintaining continuity, realism, and top-tier quality standards.
• Support production in planning, scheduling, and forecasting resourcing needs to meet deadlines and budgets.
• Act as the main creative and technical point of contact for clients and internal stakeholders.
• Present work to clients and directors, address feedback, and ensure creative intent is upheld through final delivery.

Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum 5 years' experience as a VFX and or Compositing Supervisor (or equivalent senior compositing leadership role).
• Proven experience leading compositing and/or VFX teams on feature films, episodic series, or high-end commercials.
• Expert knowledge of Nuke and advanced compositing techniques for photorealistic integration.
• Strong artistic sensibility with a keen eye for composition, lighting, colour, and storytelling.
• Thorough understanding of the VFX pipeline, including CG, lighting, FX, and rendering workflows.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and team development skills.
• Ability to balance creative excellence with technical constraints and production realities.
• Strong client-facing experience, able to present work confidently and manage feedback.
• Familiarity with pipeline tools, templates, and optimisation practices.
