The Opportunity

Based in their brand new Cockburn Central branch, the role is focussed on growing the WA territory and supporting existing customers in the region.  

Day to day:

  • Prospecting for potential customers to generate leads and opportunities.
  • Working with the internal sales support team to identify new business opportunities and arrange sales meetings.
  • Meeting with and building relationships with current and prospective clients.
  • Demonstrating equipment to clients as needed to complete the sales process.
  • Provide market feedback and intelligence to the leadership team.
  • Maintaining the Salesforce CRM with relevant info.

About You

We are looking for an experienced BDM, ideally from the capital equipment or industrial sectors, with a passion for expanding territories and building new relationships. 

Ideally, you will have:

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong internal and external relationships
  • Ability to work independently and be self-motivated
  • The ability to be flexible and adapt quickly to change
  • Ability to understand and demonstrate the operations of small and large equipment
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on attention to detail
