Systems Lead

About the Role:

As our Systems Lead, you'll shape the digital infrastructure that supports Australia's aged care workforce. You'll be responsible for planning, selecting and implementing business systems—including CRM, ATS and LMS platforms—that connect the talent lifecycle from attraction and onboarding to learning and retention.

In this role, you will be responsible for

• Leading the design and implementation of fit-for-purpose systems that support workforce functions, ensuring alignment with goals of government-funded programs and sector sustainability.

• Facilitating discovery workshops to map processes, define requirements, define success measures and design user-centred solutions.

• Overseeing end-to-end system delivery, including configuration, testing, data migration, go-live and transition to BAU.

• Acting as the primary technical contact for system vendors, managing relationships and resolving issues as needed.

• Collaborating across internal teams and technical specialists to ensure systems are integrated, accessible and user-friendly.

• Delivering change management, training and communications to drive smooth system implementation and adoption.

• Championing system usability and accessibility, ensuring tools are intuitive and accessible for both internal teams and external users, including aged care providers and jobseekers.

• Supporting data consistency, reporting and evaluation to enable evidence-based decision making across workforce initiatives.

What You'll Bring

• Demonstrated experience leading the planning, implementation and improvement of business systems (ideally CRM, ATS, LMS or similar).

• Proven track record managing end-to-end system delivery, from requirements gathering to BAU support.

• Experience facilitating workshops, mapping processes and capturing user needs.

• Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to work across diverse teams and technical specialists.

• Vendor management experience, acting as the technical lead and escalation point.

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to simplify technical concepts, deliver training and create engaging documentation.

• Strong problem-solving ability, with a user-centred mindset and a passion for continuous improvement.

• Experience in health, community services or aged care is highly desirable but not essential.
