About the role

We're looking for a School Development Coordinator to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis. This role is all about driving greater participation in tennis and strengthening engagement with the education sector at the local level. As School Development Coordinator, you will be responsible for:

  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with school representatives, inclusion stakeholders, and community groups to foster trust and drive long-term engagement in tennis
  • Supporting and mentoring coaches, teachers, and club representatives to strengthen school and community partnerships
  • Influencing and guiding coaches in creating clear, structured pathways from school programs to club participation
  • Designing and implementing a comprehensive tennis plan for school-based competitions
  • Managing partnerships with school sport governing bodies to embed tennis within existing competition structures

About you

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Tertiary qualification in Education, Teaching, Sports Management, or a related field (highly regarded)
  • Experience in territory management, with a proven ability to build strong customer relationships and drive sustainable growth through strategic partnerships
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the confidence to engage both one-on-one and in group settings
  • Excellent organisational skills with a focus on attention to detail
  • Hold (or be willing to obtain) a current Police Check and Working with Children Check
  • Preparedness to be flexible in regard to working hours and arrangements relating to work associated with Tennis SA
