Dynamics 365 Developer - Major Transformation Program
We're looking for a Dynamics 365 Developer to join a multi-year transformation program. This is a chance to step into a high-impact role where your development skills will directly contribute to modernising enterprise-scale digital platforms.
As part of a multidisciplinary delivery team, you'll design, build, and integrate solutions across Dynamics 365 Customer Service and Power Platform. You'll be hands-on in coding, customising, and extending the platform while ensuring it performs at scale and meets business needs.
What you'll be doing
- Programming in C# for Dynamics 365 development, particularly plugins, custom workflows, and web resources
- Using JavaScript for client-side scripting in forms and web resources
- Customising entities, forms, views, charts, and dashboards
- Configuring business rules, workflows, business process flows, and actions
- Integrating Dynamics with other systems using APIs, web services, or tools like Azure Logic Apps and Power Automate
- Extending Dynamics 365 capabilities with PowerApps
- Using Power BI for reporting and data visualisation
- Leveraging Power Automate for process automation
- Writing SQL queries and managing data in relation to Dynamics 365
- Managing deployment strategies, environment configuration, and version control with Azure DevOps and GitHub
- Defining and managing security roles and profiles within the Dynamics 365 security model
- Applying UX design principles to improve usability within Dynamics customisations
- Using tools like XrmToolBox for development and troubleshooting tasks
- Collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality outcomes
What we're looking for
- Proven experience in C# development for Dynamics 365 (plugins, workflows, web resources)
- Strong JavaScript skills for client-side customisations
- Deep understanding of Dynamics 365 modules (Sales, Customer Service, Finance, Operations, etc.)
- Experience customising and configuring Dynamics 365 to meet business requirements
- Skills in integrating Dynamics with other systems and services (Azure Functions, APIs, Logic Apps)
- Proficiency in Power Platform - PowerApps, Power BI, and Power Automate
- Knowledge of SQL Server for database operations and data management
- Familiarity with deployment strategies, environment management, and version control tools
- Experience managing security models within Dynamics 365
- Awareness of UX design principles to deliver user-friendly solutions
- Ability to apply tools like XrmToolBox effectively
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of Azure services that complement Dynamics 365
Location
We are particularly interested in speaking to Developers based in Brisbane, given the proximity to key stakeholders. However, we are equally open to highly skilled candidates located in Sydney or Melbourne. Hybrid work arrangements are supported, though this is not a remote role.
