Program Assistant

Outside of School Hours Care Program Assistant

Location: Jerrabomberra NSW

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an Outside School Hours Care Program Assistant to join our team at Greater Kids Jerrabomberra OSHC service.

The Role

We are seeking applications for suitable candidates who will work as part of a team and who are dedicated, confident, creative and open to learn.

This is an opportunity to join an enthusiastic motivated team on a casual basis at our OSHC centre.

The available position is for Monday - Friday: Before School Care, After School Care

About you

The position would suit candidates who are creative, energetic and have experience working with children aged 5-12 years. The successful candidate will have the ability to engage with school aged care children and assist in the facilitation of activities.

Essential requirements for this position are:

Prefer qualifications in early childhood, long day care, or out of school hours care

New working with children check

Qualifications in Education or willingness to undertake study.

A current first-aid certificate and asthma and anaphylaxis training or willingness to undertake training in this area.

Experience programming and planning, leading a team, running activities/programs for children highly regarded.

Ability to work and contribute to a team

Show initiative with children
