Practice Manager

**(CLINIC) is currently seeking an experienced, enthusiastic and motivated Practice Manager for a permanent full-time position.**(CLINIC) forms part of Partnered Health Medical Centres, one of Australia's leading primary healthcare providers with 60 clinics located throughout metropolitan and regional centres, comprising 56 medical centres and 4 dedicated skin clinics.**

This role is permanent full-time, Monday to Friday, 38 hours per week.

**What the job involves**:

- High management responsibilities of a large, busy practice
- Manage relationships with key stakeholders
- Achieving government grant criteria
- Assistance with marketing and public relations
- Doctor on-boarding
- Management of administration and nursing staff
- Reception staff training and development
- Finance responsibilities including Medicare batching, private billing, debtor collection and banking
- Manage key expense lines to budget
- Implementation of new programs
- Reporting to the State Manager and Operations Manager
- Current knowledge of current Accreditation Standards (preferred)

**What we need from you**:

- Previous experience as a Practice Manager (essential)
- Previous experience managing budgets, profit and loss statements (preferred)
- Knowledge of Medicare item numbers (preferred)
- Understanding of medical terminology
- Exceptional customer service and teamwork skills
- Commitment to ethical behaviour and conduct
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to empathise with patients
- Completion of relevant formal qualifications
- Intermediate to advanced working knowledge of Microsoft office suite and Microsoft Excel
- Must have a passion for working with people and have a personable disposition
- Previous experience in completing fortnightly rosters (preferred)
- Company funded pre-employment medical
