Senior Contract Specialist

As a Senior Contract Specialist within the Customer Strategy and Technology division, you will play a key role in managing complex commercial arrangements that support cutting-edge transport and payment systems across NSW. You'll ensure that supplier relationships are optimised, performance expectations are met, and value for money is achieved across all stages of the contract lifecycle.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading negotiations and overseeing contract changes, extensions, and performance outcomes.
  • Providing trusted advice on commercial, contractual, and supplier management matters.
  • Building strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external vendors.
  • Monitoring compliance with KPIs and driving improvements in supplier management practices.
  • Supporting strategic initiatives that enhance customer experiences and operational efficiency.

Key selection criteria:

You're a confident negotiator with a track record in commercial contract management, supplier performance, and dispute resolution. You thrive in complex stakeholder environments and enjoy working on projects that deliver tangible community outcomes. Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline or equivalent business experience will be highly regarded.
