Senior Service Improvement Practitioner

THE ROLE
The Service Improvement Practitioner providesremote andon the ground support and expertise to child protection areas across the state experiencing acute operation pressures.
In this role you will regularly travel to divisional child protection offices including to regional and remote areas across the state, providing in-person capability and capacity building of child protection practitioners, and work with areas to improve service delivery systems.
If required travel will be undertake during standard business hours starting from the primary office location. If overnight stays are required, trips will typically be scheduled Monday to Thursday. The incumbent will be required to stay in accommodation provided during the week and return home on Thursday afternoon. When travel is not required, hybrid work arrangements from the Service Improvement Practitioner's local primary office location will apply.
ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE
- Develops and coaches others in their understanding of risk assessment and analysis
- Provides case planning advice, guidance and support to others; directly supports and inputs into cases where there is unacceptable risk to the child
- Leads planning, review and management of issues in line with best practice principles and legislative requirements
