About the role

We are seeking a Sales Representative to join our dynamic team at Fencemakers Pty Ltd. As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for promoting and selling our range of custom-made high-quality fencing and gate solutions to both residential and commercial customers across the Perth Metropolitan area. This full-time position offers a competitive remuneration package and the opportunity to work with Perth's leading provider of fencing and gate products.

What you'll be doing

  • Conduct in-person sales visits and presentations to potential customers
  • Provide expert advice and recommendations on the best fencing and gate solutions to meet customer needs
  • Prepare detailed quotations and proposals for customers
  • Negotiate sales contracts and close deals effectively
  • Maintain accurate records of all sales activities and customer interactions
  • Collaborate with the wider sales and operations team to ensure seamless customer service

What we're looking for

  • Proven track record in a Sales Role, preferably within the fencing or construction industry, however we are willing to train the right applicant.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and effectively present to customers
  • Ability to follow a Sales Process and be coachable
  • Excellent problem-solving and negotiation skills, with a focus on delivering customer satisfaction
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve sales targets
  • Proficient in using sales and CRM software to track and manage customer data
  • A valid driver's licence and reliable transportation
